Small, friendly hotel that listens to the needs of their guests. Beautiful oasis type roof top-unusual for the location but a pleasant surprise.
Drinks are expensive ( 2 rum and coke = $30)

Everything is perfect, loved my time here. Fashionable rooms complete with a kitchenette, outstandingly accommodating and amicable staff. The hotel's location is unbeatable and incredible, not far from many clubs and bars. They have a rooftop bar. If in Los Angeles again will be back.

We had a fantastic stay at Petit Ermitage and could not recommend more highly. Everyone had warned us that we needed a car in LA but in this location we had no problem walking to many of the shopping areas - Melrose, Robertson, Beverly Centre etc and to bars and restaurants, including Chateau Marmont. Make sure you spend at least one night on Petit Ermitages rooftop. Amazing setting, we meet lovely people and the food was fantastic. The rooms were quirky but spatially well planned and the staff couldnt be friendlier. We will definitely return! Fabulous!
I usually find at least one area for improvement but in all honesty, neither my husband nor I could fault this place.

Everything!! It was such a convenient location to all the major attractions, dinning and shopping. To get to Santa Monica Pier it was one bus ride in and out too easy and the Starline Hop On Hop Off bus stop was within short stroll - no need to hire a car. The hotel was so quiet, no street noise at all and we were on the ground level and no noise from other travellers - brilliant. Beds and pillows fabulous we even slept through the 2 earthquakes. The shower was the best we have ever had through all our travels. Loved it and will definately recommend to all or friends etc. thanks Booked.net and Petit Ermitage

I like this hotel. The room is not quite big but you have your own kitchen. My friend visit me from Japan. He brought some Japanese food. So I appreciate we had a kitchen in our room. The bath room is pretty, the bed is not so big but ok. The swimming pool and the view from 4th floor was awesome.
The parking $30 per a day

Great location! Rooms were sizable and comfortable. Pool/lounge area on roofdeck had a great ambiance.
Very slow elevator. Fitness center had no treadmill. Room was not serviced very well each day (did not replenish shampoo and other items). Service in restaurant was inadequate.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was comfortable. Minor hiccuip in that the staff forgot to put my suitcase in my car and ended up flying home without it, but the hotel staff more than made up for it by promptly shipping my luggage to my home.
Price of the food was extorionate. Would have liked to have a simple mug of tea or coffee and a biscuit without having to spend 10usd on a pot of tea, and 15usd for an entire plate of cookies and wait 30 minutes for it to arrive. It would be great to have the ability to grab a bowl of cereal and slice of toast in the morning or cup of tea / coffee in the afternoon, rather than have to order some rather extravagent spread and have to wait for ages for it to arrive. Additionally the room had little to no natural light, and was very dark.

quirky, quirky, quirky
I loved the quirky décor throughout the hotel, made each corner a feast for the eyes! The rooftop area was a fine oasis with amazing views of the Hollywood Hills and lovingly landscaped gardens, perfect for soaking up the sun. The themed entertainment nights made our evenings nice, especially when we enjoyed live music under the stars!

The decoration, the roof terrace, the friendly staff.
A bit crowded at the roof terrace at daytime. The queen bed is a bit small for two grown up people.
